5 week Intro course for an Intro to ashtanga Yoga - modified primary series. This popular beginners yoga class is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together. This practice will attempt to coordinate breathing and physical movement, improve focus and concentration, and help participants regain control of their body and mind. This class consists of select asana's suitable for beginners, including sun salutations, some standing postures, selected seated postures up to & after navasana (boat pose), a light version of backbends & selected postures from the finishing sequence, with a long relaxation at the end of each session. Modifications are given for each pose allowing you to experience the practice in a safe & controlled manner, so beginners are welcome. Arrive 10 minutes before class and bring your yoga mat ( or rent). To book, buy a single class pass, or purchase a 5 or 10 class pack for better value. Bring a friend for free ( new customers only, but must confirm by email first).
Yoga class sizes are restricted, so booking in advance is a requirement and the venue has to be booked in advance. Please do cancel as early as possible, late cancellations will be deducted if cancelled less than 12 hours, so please keep our cancellation policy in mind: Late cancellation fee: if you cancel a reservation within 12 hours of the start time, you will be charged a class fee Missed class fee: if you miss a reservation without cancelling, you will be charged a class fee Missed classes within a YOGA class course you will be charged a class fee.
